The Beasts That Shouted Love at the Heart of the World
Zeitgeist is pleased to present new work from a Nashville native, Brent Stewart
Brent Stewart, another Nashville-native, works predominantly in photography and film. His current work, The Beasts That Shouted Love at the Heart of the World, evokes narratives from what might be a scary movie but treated with a more ethereal, innocent, and beautiful sensibility.
Brent has had recent showings in New York, London, and Chicago and holds degrees from Goldsmiths College, London and the University of Tennessee. Brent, along with area filmmakers like Harmony Korine and James Clauer, continue to forge Nashville's reputation in the contemporary art industry world-wide.
