| Picture Mechanics |
Picture Mechanics, a group of some of the top contemporary illustrators working in the field today, has been invited to show personal work at Zeitgeist. Many of the artists will be familiar as their work can regularly be seen in magazines such as Time, Forbes, and Rolling Stone, television networks such as MTV, and thousands of other mediums such as popular board games, compact disc covers, and national/international advertising campaigns. Participating artists include:

Picture Mechanics is a cooperative of 37 artists founded in 2000 by Richard Downs, Gary Taxali, and Nick Wilton to explore new avenues for members. In the upcoming exhibition the artists will be presenting a variety of work ranging from paintings to collage and photo-based and digital mediums to sculptural pieces. Zeitgeist presents the show as a dialogue that brings attention to the blurred lines between commercial art and fine art |
